E-commerce Development

Online stores designed around how customers actually buy.

From product discovery to checkout, we design and develop e-commerce experiences built to reduce friction, strengthen trust and help turn traffic into sales.

E-commerce is a customer journey, not a product catalogue.

A catalogue lists what exists. A store helps someone decide. The difference shows up in navigation, filtering, product information, trust signals and how few steps stand between wanting the thing and owning it.

Where stores lose the sale.

Every stage below is a place customers drop out. Most store projects obsess over the first and neglect the last two, which is the wrong way round.

Find

Navigation, collections, search and filters. If the customer cannot narrow down, they leave.

Decide

Photography, product information, sizing, delivery, returns. Doubt is the thing that kills the sale.

Shop on mobile

Thumb-reachable controls, fast images, a cart that survives interruption.

Cart

Clear totals, visible shipping, easy edits — no unpleasant surprises at the last step.

Check out

Fewest fields possible, trusted payment methods, and no forced account creation.

We work on the platform you are on, or help you choose one.

How an e-commerce project runs.

01

Product & business discovery

Catalogue, margins, customers, fulfilment, and what is currently getting in the way of sales.

02

Information architecture

How the catalogue is organised, how collections relate, and how someone narrows a hundred products to one.

03

UX

Browse, product, cart and checkout flows, designed as one continuous path rather than four separate screens.

04

Visual design

A store that looks like the brand and makes the product the hero. Mobile designed first, not last.

05

Development

Build, templates, catalogue structure, performance work and the content model your team will maintain.

06

Integrations

Payments, shipping, analytics, and whatever else the operation genuinely runs on.

07

Testing

Real purchase testing across devices and payment methods, plus tracking verification before launch.

08

Launch

Go-live, redirects where a previous store existed, and monitoring through the first trading days.

09

Optimisation

What the data shows after launch becomes the next round of changes, usually in checkout and product pages first.

Questions we get asked.

Can you redesign an existing store?

Yes. We can redesign in place or rebuild, depending on what the current store can carry. Either way the catalogue, URLs and existing search equity get protected. See Redesign & Migration.

Can you migrate an online store to a different platform?

Yes. Store migration involves the catalogue, customer data, order history, URLs and redirects. We plan it as its own workstream with an inventory and a mapping before anything moves.

Do you optimise checkout?

Yes, and it is usually where the fastest gains are. Field count, guest checkout, payment method choice, shipping visibility and error handling all measurably affect completion.

Can you integrate payments?

Yes. Which providers are available depends on your platform and market, and we will confirm what is genuinely supported for your setup before committing to it.

Can you build multilingual stores?

Yes, including right-to-left. Multilingual commerce also touches currency, tax display and shipping rules, so we scope those explicitly rather than treating it as a translation job.

Do you provide marketing after launch?

Yes. See Digital Marketing. Because we built the store, campaign traffic lands on pages we can actually change when the data says to.

Can you manage the store after launch?

Yes. See Website Management, which covers ongoing development, content, performance and conversion work.
